New Video Highlights Teachers
Using Microfiber for Asthma Prevention
OHB has a new video - Healthy Schools, One Cloth at a Time - that shows how cleaning with microfiber cloths in the classroom can decrease chemical exposure that can affect the health of school staff and students. Teachers share how microfiber has been an easy, safe, and effective cleaning alternative to chemicals.
Some cleaning products, including disinfectant wipes, can worsen or even cause asthma. The video summarizes California laws and regulations about the use of sanitizers and disinfectants in the classroom.
The Work-Related Asthma Prevention Program has created a variety of resources devoted to helping schools clean in an asthma-safer way.

Using microfiber to clean is a safe and effective cleaning alternative to chemicals.
