​PPE for Frontline Staff 
Use the following introductory material to train and educate staff on the core infection prevention practice of using personal protective equipment. Note the following also include hand hygiene and environmental cleaning and disinfection trainings.  
  • PPE training slides in English (PDF) and Spanish (PDF) 
  • PPE flipchart: The flipchart corresponds with the above training slides and is a resource for on the go training. We recommend printing on ledger sized (11” x 17”) paper, double-sided. Available in English (PDF) and Spanish (PDF). 
  • Pre-/post-test questions with answer keys in English (PDF), Spanish (PDF) 
Infection Prevention Fundamentals 
The fundamentals course gives educators a comprehensive background on PPE. Note: Second half of presentation includes an Introduction to MDRO.

Basic Principles of Infection Control for Environmental Services Technicians
