FDB’s Food Safety Program strives to be a world leader and trusted voice in farm to table food safety. Our mission is to protect and improve the health of consumers by assuring foods are safe, and are not adulterated, misbranded, or falsely advertised. We accomplish this through sound inspections and investigations, and compliance and enforcement based upon scientific principles and specific legal authority. We strive to provide efficient, equitable, and quality service through compliance, enforcement, communication, education, outreach and cooperation.
